Job Summary
This position specializes in clinical operations, business analysis, and development across a wide range of complex activities in the VA and provides administrative support and staff assistance to the QPS programs, including Infection Prevention, External Peer Review Program, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Continuous Readiness, High Reliability Organization (HRO), and Strategic Analytics for Improvement and Learning (SAIL), relieving the QPS programs of administrative responsibilities.
Job Description
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 08/12/2026. You may qualify based on your experience as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for drafting clear policy documents, preparing educational materials, and providing training. The role requires sound judgment, analytical thinking, discretion when handling sensitive information, skill in continuous quality improvement, planning and coordinating cross-departmental efforts, developing new approaches to assess workload and performance measures, analyze complex problems, communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, proficiency with office automation tools, spreadsheets, electronic databases is required for tracking policy status, accessing information, preparing reports, knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, professional services, financial and resource management principles.
