MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: One year specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in Federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include: leading a team or providing guidance to staff in a program/facility for substance abuse and mental health disorders; working as a member of an interdisciplinary team; providing consultation to a therapeutic community; collecting and interpreting data; investigating and resolving complaints, disputes, or issues; and using interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships and establish a culture of civility, trust, and respect. This experience must be detailed in your resume to receive credit. ~OR~ Successful completion of one and one-half (1.5) years of graduate education or a master's degree in a field of study directly related to the work of this position. This education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. One year of full-time graduate education is the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one year of full-time study. If that number cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours will be considered an academic year of graduate study. Part-time graduate education is creditable in accordance with its relationship to a year of full-time study at the school attended.
