Job Summary

This position serves as a Financial Accounts Technician in Fiscal Service at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in Castle Point, NY. The primary duties include performing analysis and evaluation of financial/accounting or payroll data and applying a working knowledge of these functions as they pertain to a revolving fund environment.

To meet the qualifications of the position you must have the following: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-6) in the Federal service. Specialized experience: Experience performing financial accounting functions (e.g., handling funds, processing payments, posting financial transaction information, balancing financial accounts). NOTE: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hours worked per week.
