Job Summary
The incumbent of this position IT Specialist is located in the Office of Technology, for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA). This position will require up to 75% official travel.
Job Description

To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required competencies and experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying: Required competencies for the GS-13: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. AND Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-12 level) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience at the GS-13 level is defined as work that involves applying analytical methods to assess and resolve complex issues impacting EHR deployment, including conducting root cause analyses, evaluating high risk IT processes, and recommending corrective actions to strengthen program control, system performance, and operational management.
