Job Summary
The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Assistant. The position is located within the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, Office Services Division. The selected candiate will support the day-to-day supervision and work activities of the division. The position requires a flexible work schedule, with potential work on weekends and holidays as required.
Job Description
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-09 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: (1) Providing administrative and technical leadership or supervision to employees. (2) Managing an organization's day-to-day office services operations. (3) Analyzing and evaluating program performance data to identify problems and make recommendations for improvement. (4) Experience in directing highly technical, complex office services programs.
