This position is located at the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Base at Fort Hood, TX. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child:25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives and bonuses will not be paid.

Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Must have active, current registration as a professional nurse (RN) in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. In addition to the above, applicants must have at least one of the following: 1. One year of specialized experience equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level 2. Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education or a master's or equivalent degree in the field of nursing. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Highly-qualified candidates will have experience in pediatric nursing and/or working with children/youth with special needs. The experience and knowledge listed above MUST be reflected on your resume to be considered a Highly Preferred candidate. Please provide relevant transcripts to support your eligibility for the position. Note: Education must be directly related to the position to be filled (general psychology/sociology/counseling courses are not qualifying). To be considered, transcripts must be in English, must be legible, and must reflect the name of the school as well as the name of the applicant. FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
