Job Summary
This position is located at the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Base at Fort Hood, TX. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Children: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Available to CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives and bonuses will not be paid.
Job Description
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. **IMPORTANT**Documentation showing active, current registration as a professional nurse (RN) in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States must be submitted with your application to be found eligible. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Must have active, current registration as a professional nurse (RN) in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. In addition to the above, applicants must have at least one of the following: 1. One year of specialized experience equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level 2. Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education or a master's or equivalent degree in the field of nursing. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Highly preferred candidates will submit resumes that reflect experience in pediatric nursing and/or working with children/youth with special needs. The experience and knowledge listed above MUST be reflected on your resume to be considered a Highly Preferred candidate.
