Job Summary

This position is located at Fort Carson, Colorado. Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Available to CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives and bonuses will not be paid.

Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressive work experience directly related to the duties to be performed as described in numbers 1 thru 6 below equivalent to the next lower grade level: 1. Experience working with regulatory, personnel, funding, and budgeting proponents. Knowledge of management analysis, personnel development, and APF and NAF funding and oversight relationship to CYS programs. 2. Four years of program administration experience in child and youth programs. 3. Experience in training adults and working effectively with command staff, professional staff and parents. 4. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize work, and analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and recognize solutions. 5. Comprehensive oral and communications skills and analytical writing skills. Ability to present ideas and proposals to a variety of audiences. 6. Demonstrated ability using computers with standard office software such Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and e-mail. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": The most highly qualified candidate will have knowledge of and experience in working with CYMS and CYERT or similar automated systems. The experience and knowledge listed above MUST be reflected on your resume to be considered a highly preferred candidate.
