This vacancy is to fill a Management and Program Analyst positions at the Department of Commerce, in the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), within the Office of Export Enforcement (OEE), Manassas Operations Center. Job Description

To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, you must possess (52) weeks of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-11 in the Federal Service as described below. Serving as a liaison with federal law enforcement training organizations and external training partners, such as FLETC, to support evaluation of training requirements. Conducting analysis to support planning and coordination of large-scale training events, including reviewing cost and resource data and making recommendations to improve program effectiveness. Assisting in evaluating program requirements and identifying resource needs for leadership in law enforcement, training, and mission support programs. Maintaining Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification and coordinating secure facility access. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must possess (52) weeks of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-12 in the Federal Service as described below. Serving as the principal liaison with federal law enforcement training organizations and external training partners, such as FLETC, to support evaluation of training requirements. Conducting independent analysis to support planning and coordination of large-scale training events, including evaluating requirements, reviewing cost and resource data, and making recommendations to improve program effectiveness. Providing guidance to programs on requirements and supporting leadership in resource allocation decisions. Performed collateral duty as a Facility Security Officer; controlling and coordinating sensitive facility access. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
