Job Description

Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To qualify at the CU-13 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include experience: (1) auditing, examining or liquidating complex financial institutions. Complex financial institutions is defined as financial institutions or federally insured depository institutions with CAMELS rating of 3, 4, or 5; those in danger of failure; or those that have failed due to deteriorating financial conditions; AND at least two of the following activities: (2) preparing policies, procedures, or operational guidance for a company or agency's accounting and/or financial management system; (3) conducting internal control reviews to determine risk exposure; (4) implementing technology-based solutions to automate manual reports and processes; or (5) converting raw data sets into visual and written reports; To qualify at the CU-14 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-13 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include experience: (1) auditing, examining or liquidating complex financial institutions. Complex financial institutions is defined as financial institutions or federally insured depository institutions with CAMELS rating of 3, 4, or 5; those in danger of failure; or those that have failed due to deteriorating financial conditions; AND (2) leading a team or working group in organizing and accomplishing work; AND at least three of the following activities: (3) preparing policies, procedures, or operational guidance for a company or agency's accounting and/or financial management system; (4) conducting internal control reviews to determine risk exposure; (5) implementing technology-based solutions to automate manual reports and processes; (6) converting raw data sets into visual and written reports. You must meet the qualifications for this position by the closing date of this announcement.
