Experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=Group-Standards Specialized Experience: Must have one year of experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or next lower pay band of NJ-01 in the federal service which includes conducting extensive research on unusual transactions and patterns of inconsistency between the Consolidated Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the Supply Chain Management (SCM) databases within the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). Additionally, to provide supply operations support to the F-35 customer service, retrograde, and pilot fit equipment sections pertaining to specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts requiring unusual degrees of protection in shipment and storage, or other items that are unique to the organization's mission or are seldom handled. Ideal Candidate: Candidate should be familiar with F-35 Supply Operations and experience within F-35 Supply Chain Management operating procedures to include CMMS and SCM databases within the F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) while supporting customer service and retrograde operations with specialized equipment shipments. Successful candidates must apply operating instructions and basic analytical methods to resolve complex supply issues, utilizing specialized knowledge of warehouse operations and supply regulations. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of governing JSFPO Sustainment Operating Instructions, ALIS User and Warehouse guides, supply regulations, procedures, and other applicable instructions; ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve complex supply problems and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods; ability to receive, screen, review, and verify supply documents and resolve discrepancies. Knowledge of safety, security, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and train members of the duty section. Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material, such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc., to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Skill in handling fork lift controls for starting, stopping, backing, lifting, lowering, tilting, and driving fork lift trucks through narrow aisles, up and down ramps, and in and out of trucks; manipulating motor vehicle controls for starting, stopping, backing, and driving vehicles in all types of traffic and road conditions; and judging overhead and side clearances, turning radius, and braking distances. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
