The ideal candidate will have knowledge and ability to resolve problems and research solutions, utilize multiple computer systems and platforms, multitask, and provide exceptional customer service. BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT: General Experience: For positions for which individual occupational requirements do not specify otherwise, general experience is 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as it provided evidence of the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) necessary to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Experience of a general clerical nature (typing, filing, routine procedural processing, maintaining records, or other nonspecialized tasks) is not creditable. Trades or crafts experience appropriate to the position to be filled may be creditable for some positions. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcript KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the full range of Federal HR affirmative employment, recruitment, and placement principles, concepts, policies, and analytical techniques. 2. Knowledge of other HR processes sufficient to relate recruitment and placement issues to them. 3. Skill in applying established principles, provisions, laws, regulations, practices, and techniques of staffing and recruitment. 4. Skill in troubleshooting and resolving the most difficult problems associated with providing comprehensive recruitment and placement advisory services. 5. Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions from information, and communicate information clearly, orally and in writing. 6. Ability to use automated personnel data system to document, review, correct, amend, and/or approve personnel actions. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
