Job Summary

This position is in the General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the Deputy Administrator, Project Management Office (PMO) for the Technology Modernization Fund (TMF). The employee serves as a consultant and technical project expert for providing advice on IT concepts and practices and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with critical organizational priorities. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $143,913.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. Specialized experience is: Managing long-term IT projects, including funding, planning, requirements, analysis, and implementation. Leading studies, cost-benefit analyses, and reviews to support IT system and project decisions. Developing or revising IT policies, practices, services, or strategies based on laws, regulations, business needs, and user needs. Advising customers and stakeholders on IT modernization, software development practices, and business process improvements. Monitoring project progress, identifying risks or issues, and recommending changes to keep work aligned with program goals.
