About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the VAT/UTAP Office, Ramstein AB, Germany. Examines, verifies, and analyzes a variety of documents to determine their mathematical correctness, validity, and clerical accuracy. Maintains bookkeeping journals and subsidiary ledgers, posting accurately to established accounts. This position may offer logistical support.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in work which provided knowledge of double entry accounting procedures and techniques. Knowledge of basic principles and techniques pertaining to the management of a Value Added Tax and Utility Tax Relief operation and related guidance. Knowledge of computer database, spreadsheet, and word processing. Firm understanding of procedures used to enter, modify, retrieve, and delete information in an automated general ledger system. Knowledge of office automation. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak German.
