About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Lodging Facility in Ramstein, Germany. This position may offer logistical support. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks involved in the upkeep and maintenance of Lodging facilities, grounds, related structures, fixtures, and utilities to ensure accomplishment of those duties and related tasks. Work requires standing, stooping, and bending, heavy lifting occasionally of 50 lbs. & more.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have general knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, locks, and other general maintenance experience, or have experience in similar work which provides general knowledge of tasks required in the position description. Must have a working knowledge of various hand and power tools. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in English. Must be able to operate up to 2.5 ton truck. Must be able to meet all physical requirements prescribed in the position description and must possess a valid driver's license and USAREUR license. Must be able to life a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a preemployment physical as well as scheduled periodic physicals. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a T1 investigation (NACI); filling a position of trust. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
