Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have four years of recreation and facility management experience demonstrating knowledge of the goals, philosophy, principles, techniques and procedures used in organizing, planning, administering and conducting recreation activities. One year must be a supervisory level. Relevant education may be used as a substitute for experience. Must have the ability to supervise large groups of people and have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must possess a valid driver¿s license. Within one year of hire date, the incumbent must obtain or possess a Certificated Program Planners Certification or a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional Certification. Within three months of employment, the incumbent must obtain and maintain certification in CPR/AED, First Aid, and food handling.
