Job Description
Five years of experience that demonstrates the experience, knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of the WARR/SF, All Marine Sports, and Marine Corps Total Fitness is preferred. Leadership and management experience with or at Marine Corps Installation WARR/SF programs preferred. Ability to learn and comply with all laws, regulations, and policies related to sponsorship, advertising, funding, and budgeting applicable to the Department of Defense is required. Proficient use of social media platforms to promote, market, and support events, activities, products, and programs. Experience demonstrates knowledge in working with media organizations (electronic, paper, television) to report, promote, market, broadcast, and support events, programs, and activities. Experience working in and leading health, wellness, prevention, performance, and quality of life programs for large institutions. Demonstrates ability to develop and manage funding strategies, securing critical resources for program expansion and innovation. Experience working with and in institutional executive leadership teams to develop media campaigns. Skilled public speaker in delivering high impacts presentations to large groups, including stakeholders, community members and professional peers. College and/or professional athletic playing experience preferred.
