Job Description
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years old AND have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school; OR Have completed a formal vocational training program. A minimum one year of progressively more responsible administrative work which demonstrates analytical ability, mature judgment, discretion, and knowledge of a substantial body of administrative principles, concepts, policies, and objectives. A valid Government Owned Vehicle (GOV) operator¿s permit is required for the performance of duties for this position. Inability to obtain or maintain appropriate GOV licensing will result in termination for lack of qualifications. The incumbent is required to obtain required GOV licenses within 30 days of hire. Must be able to work irregular hours on reviews and observations. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of basic administrative policies, procedures, and regulations and demonstrated ability to apply such knowledge in performing work. Knowledge in such as MCCS Directives, Policies, SOP's, and LOI's are preferable. Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts and data, and create various reports. Evaluate business operations to identify risk areas for fraud. Analyze financial data to detect irregularities in areas such as billing trends, financial relationships, and regulatory compliance procedures. Interview witnesses or employees and take statements. Knowledge and ability in operating Microsoft Programs such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management to produce various documents. Ability to communicate effectively both orally using tact and courtesy, and in writing including the knowledge of proper English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and usage. Knowledge of Naval Correspondence Manual's rules and regulations is preferable. This activity is a Drug-free workplace.
