Job Description

Must possess the minimum of a Bachelor¿s degree in Business Management or a related field appropriate to the work of the position AND five years of executive level experience OR a combination of education and work experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. Must have demonstrated experience with developing large, multi-million dollar short-term and long-range budget forecasts, as well as operational plans for the implementation of same. Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as effective interpersonal skills in order to facilitate interaction with high-ranking military and civilian government officials. Hands-on management experience and program oversight of similar support functions such as Finance, Management Information Systems, Human Resources and Marketing. Ability to analyze industry trends and make organizational improvements through the application of effective and innovative financial management, logistics, personnel management, and information technology concepts. Must possess maturity and experience in dealing with situations requiring effective leadership, guidance, and/or constructive coaching of associate staff. Knowledge of appropriated and non-appropriated fund regulations pertaining to both fiscal and personnel matters is desired, in order to effectively manage the resources involved. Financial Disclosure Duty Statement: The incumbent of this position participates substantially through decision or exercise of significant judgment in taking official action for: contracting or procurement, administering or monitoring federally conferred financial or operational benefits, regulating or auditing a nonfederal entity, or other activities in which final decision making or action may have a direct and substantial economic impact on the interests of the organization. Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE Form 450 (Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report) upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, updated 17 Nov 2011. If selected, completion of a "Declaration of Federal Employment" (OF306) and submit all required paperwork for a Tier 3 Background Investigation, which must be favorably adjudicated.
