Job Description
Master's Degree in one of the behavioral sciences and must be able to meet DoD Credentialing and Privileging standards. Must have a current state license to practice independently as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, or Clinical Psychologist and must provide a photocopy of license with their application. Two years of post-graduate experience in various modalities and skill to provide individual, group, couples and family treatment/counseling in the area of domestic abuse and/or child abuse and neglect. Experience that demonstrates that subject matter expertise in behavioral health treatment, clinical program development, professional training, clinical supervision theory and practice, licensing and certification requirements, and other aspects of treatment. Experience that demonstrates the ability to provide expert technical assistance to professionals in the field and the ability to introduce innovative approaches and extension of established methods and practices. Experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect treatment. Experience that demonstrates skill to review, modify, develop, and implement domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect intervention programs that are timely, relevant to military commanders, needs, flexible, and sustainable in execution. Experience that demonstrates skill to conduct presentations, prepare/obtain training materials and deliver education and training using a variety of techniques and methods on domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect intervention.
