Job Description

Three years of progressively responsible experience, that demonstrates possession of accepted accounting principles and practices at a minimum OR 18 semester credits in accounting, or a certificate if using a combination of education and experience. Knowledge of office practices and procedures relating to the processing and recording of transactions and accounting information. Must demonstrate knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to develop practical knowledge of the Marine Corps; practical knowledge of automated accounting system; knowledge of procedures necessary to verify and edit accounting data and input documents necessary to process items correctly in an accounting system. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. This position is required to be on-site.
