Job Description
Bachelor¿s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Youth Recreation, Secondary Education, or a closely related field appropriate to the position, AND a minimum of five years of specialized experience working with children and/or youth in DoW Child and Youth Programs or equivalent in the private sector. Experience must include work in a CYP management or training role that demonstrates the expertise required to serve as a recognized authority supporting day¿to¿day program operations. OR A combination of education (at least 24 semester hours) and experience that provides knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above and a minimum of five years of specialized experience working with children and/or youth in DoW Child and Youth Programs. or equivalent in the private sector. Experience must include work in a CYP management or training role that demonstrates the expertise required to serve as a recognized authority supporting day¿to¿day program operations. Incumbents must have experience in budgeting, program evaluation, and policy development to support the effective oversight of Child and Youth Programs. This includes the ability to develop and manage initiative budgets, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with applicable fiscal regulations; evaluate program performance and recommend improvements; and develop, interpret, and implement policies and guidance that align with requirements.
