Job Description
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of three-year experience that demonstrates progressively more responsible operation management, administrative, personnel supervision, and technical work including the knowledge in woodworking machinery and tools. Must be able to accommodate work schedule during Camp Courtney Arts and Craft center facility hours. Government vehicle (GOV) license is required to operate a light truck. Able to work at various MCCS Arts and Crafts locations around Okinawa based on the staffing needs of each facility. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Leadership skills and ability in providing direction and maintaining effective working relationship with subordinate staff. Demonstrated ability in apply generally accepted business concepts and merchandising methods to conduct business and financial analysis. Experience and ability to plan and implement a variety of recreation programs and ability to use a wide range of machining techniques to set up, adapt, and use appropriate machines, tools, and accessories, e.g., woodworking. Ability to exercise tact, communicate orally and in writing efficiently with customers and higher level officials. This activity is a Drug-free workplace.
