Job Description

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, auditing, business administration or a related field, OR an Associate¿s degree in a related field plus two years of cash handling or auditing experience, OR four years of progressively advanced experience in cash handling procedures (such as banking, financial reconciliation, auditing, maintaining financial records, etc.) that demonstrates an appropriate level of knowledge and experience required for the position. A valid Government Owned Vehicle (GOV) operator¿s permit is required for the performance of duties for this position. Inability to obtain or maintain appropriate GOV licensing will result in termination for lack of qualifications. The incumbent is required to obtain a required GOV license within 30 days of hire. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of PCs and software such as word processors, spreadsheets, presentations, and databases with the ability to produce a wide range of documents. Experience in cash handling and knowledge of cash handling procedures in environments such as federal institutions or commercial institutions. Proficient in operating Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, as well as presentation skills. Ability to travel to all Marine Camps aboard Okinawa and Camp Fuji as required. This position is designated as a Position of Trust, and the incumbent must be eligible for a background check. Appointment and continued employment is subject to a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) Background Security Investigation and maintain updated checks to include the Child and Youth National Agency Check with Inquiries (CNACI).
