Job Description

Associate degree in graphic design or related field or certificates from programs related to design or multimedia that incorporates graphic design, digital design, web development, video production or related fields. Plus two years recent experience that demonstrates an ability to apply creative design methods and techniques in all advertising mediums including printed materials, web, social, and electronic marketing. Proficiency using HTML to create and structure static web pages and their content to be displayed on screen, paper, or in other media, Proficiency using CSS to create website design to include the layout, visual effects and background colors, and to adapt presentations to different types of devices such as large and small screens and printers. Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Premier Pro and video software a plus. Ability to translate a client¿s vision and project goals into visually pleasing and effective designs using layout, illustrative design, typography, printing procedures, and desktop publishing tools. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, communicating effectively with administrative and managerial staff to ensure written and verbal communications are clearly understood and followed. Physical dexterity is required to safely operate small hand tools and production equipment. Ability to lift to 25 pounds independently.
