Job Description
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Management or a related field, and five years of experience that demonstrates a professional knowledge of market research, public relations, advertising, and event marketing with two years of supervisory experience. OR, Seven years of experience, demonstrating professional knowledge in the marketing field using a variety of media and methods including digital and social media, graphic arts, design & illustration, photography, publications, broadcast media, out-of-home advertising, commercial sponsorship and market research. Two years of which must be supervisory experience. OR Combination of education and experience demonstrating professional knowledge in the marketing field using a variety of media and methods including digital and social media, graphic arts, design & illustration, photography, publications, broadcast media, out-of-home advertising, commercial sponsorship and market research. Two years of which must be supervisory experience. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Strong background in all aspects of online/digital, print, broadcast, and out-of-home marketing tools and techniques used to generate awareness, demand and revenue for a diversified portfolio ranging from restaurants and retail businesses to not-for-profit services and quality of life programs. Possess a thorough understanding of marketing technology (martech) ¿ software, tools, and platforms ¿ and the ability to analyze, plan, develop and implement innovative, effective and measurable marketing campaigns. Must have excellent written and oral presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to communicate credibly and persuasively with all levels of personnel including senior U.S. military leaders and civilian government officials. Possess maturity and sound judgement in dealing with situations requiring effective leadership, expert guidance, tact and diplomacy, including the constructive coaching of subordinate staff. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to motivate, manage and lead others. Working knowledge of NAF policies and procedures preferred.
