Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum one year experience in the performance of clerical duties such as typing, filing, record keeping, multi-line phone coverage, etc. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Must obtain a Tier 3 background investigation / IT-II 'Privileged' Level to access the DMDC TAP system. 2. Knowledge of basic administrative policies, principles, concepts, and procedures, and the ability to apply such knowledge in performing work within established procedures and systems, including the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. 3. Demonstrated ability to manage and to prioritize a multitude of tasks, often under strict timelines, while continuing to provide support to a variety of personnel. 4. Experience that reflects the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with co-workers, MCCS employees, managers, and extended contacts using proper tact and diplomacy. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience that demonstrates intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office proficiency; specifically Word and Excel, and Outlook. Experience drafting and editing documents to ensure compliance with Naval Correspondence Manual. Please include MONTH/YEAR and HOURS per week for all previous work experience listed on the resume.
