Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or multimedia arts, OR three year's work experience in graphic design or a related field, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of the knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. Knowledge in applications of layout, print production media and desktop publishing required. Proficiency in the following software is required: Photoshop (intermediate), Illustrator (intermediate), InDesign (intermediate) and CMS (advanced), along with strong overall computer skills. Experience with HTML and XML coding, along with photography skills, is a plus. The position requires excellent creative, written, and verbal communication abilities, along with a solid understanding of conceptualization, layout, typography, grid systems, hierarchy, imagery, and use of space. Have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and a clear understanding of the broader vision and client objectives, is essential. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. Must possess a valid state driver's license.
