About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Facility. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 20-34 per week. Must be able to life and carry objects weighing 40 pounds or more.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have progressively responsible experience that demonstrates the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of this position. A minimum of two years' experience that provides a specialized knowledge of the types of recreational equipment, programs. and facilities utilized in this position is required. Cashier or sales experience is required. Experience in leading groups to accomplish projects organizational projects and objectives is highly desirable. Must successfully complete a physical examination and any other occupational health examination required. Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier-I (NACI) background investigation. Must be able to communicate effectively and present a professional image. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The ability to obtain and maintain a valid state drivers' license is required due to the operation of a government vehicle to travel to accomplish duties and responsibilities. This is drug testing designated position due to the driving requirement and the incumbent is subject to random drug testing. Must be able to work other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
