Job Summary

Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying: To qualify at the GS-12 level, you must possess: Specialized Experience: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing at least three (3) of the following four (4) duties: Developing and evaluating budget estimates, operating plans, funding requests, and supporting justifications based on program requirements, prior expenditures, and projected costs. Analyzing financial and budget data to identify spending trends, funding requirements, cost variances, and opportunities for the effective use of financial resources. Using financial management, accounting, or reporting systems to monitor obligations, expenditures, allocations, and available funds; reconcile financial information; and prepare financial reports. Providing technical guidance and recommendations to management on budget execution, resource requirements, funding issues, and the allocation or adjustment of financial resources.
