Job Description
Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 09/24/2026 Permanent and legal residents of the US must be citizens of a NATO country, unless authorized to reside in the UK as a dependent of an employee who serves in support of the US Visiting Forces. Eligible applicants must possess a US-issued social security number and be able to provide documentation proving residency status in the UK. Applicants cannot be 'ordinarily resident'. A person is considered to be 'ordinarily resident' if they have resided in the United Kingdom (UK) for more than 366 days without an affiliation to the US Visiting Forces. Time spent in the UK as an employee, or dependent of an employee, of a US agency serving and supporting the US Visiting Forces (i.e., active duty military, federal civilian, AAFES, Red Cross, one of the contract universities, a military banking facility or federal credit union, or US government contractors) is not counted toward being 'ordinary resident'. In accordance with the Status of Forces Agreement between the US and the UK, British citizens may not apply for US NAF positions; however, they may be eligible to apply for local national positions on base. Dual UK/US Citizens are welcome to apply. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Position will be filled at the most qualified level. Experience which provides basic knowledge and understanding of bowling center and pro shop operations to include the rules related to bowling and organization of leagues and tournaments is required. Working knowledge of bowling machinery and equipment and bowling lane care desired. Working knowledge of Qubica, Conqueror Pro, and BLS software desired. SETS and SAIS experience is also desirable. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales operations; Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to provide work direction to other bowling center employees. Skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 (NACI) Background or equivalent
