Job Summary

The Auto Hobby shop provides the bays and equipment you need to get your vehicle back on track. Helping our dedicated military members and their families by providing guidance and assistance to fixing their automotive needs. Must be 18+ years of age. APPILCATIONS WILL BE PULLED FRIDAYS AT 8:00AM UNTIL THE POSITIONS ARE FILLED.

An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 03/19/2026 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge in the maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline powered engines which included the full range of repairing, disassembling, troubleshooting and overhauling of these engines, and provided all of the following: Knowledge of the makeup, operation, and installation of complex major systems and assemblies to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems or to rebuild one or more systems; Knowledge to test and troubleshoot components and systems to locate equipment defect; Ability to interpret and apply manufacturer's repair manuals and technical specifications, schematics and engineering drawings, diagnostic codes, computer printouts, and safety manuals; And the ability to operate electronic test equipment. Ability to frequently lift, and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally, objects weighing over 50 pounds. Frequently stands, bends, stoops, crawls, and works in tight spaces.
