Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience desired which may include skills in areas of general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and wall patching work. A working knowledge of hand tools and equipment used in the maintenance and upkeep of facilities preferred. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, perform frequent bending lifting and have good manipulative dexterity of fingers, hands, and arms. Must be able to work independently and plan work in order to achieve maximum accomplishment of assigned tasks. Must be able to communicate; i.e. read, write, and speak effectively in the English language and posses the ability to follow oral and/or written instructions, rough drawings, and must have at least one year experience. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre employment physical. Must possess a valid Drivers License . Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for Drug use You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
