Job Summary

This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Programs (N922) Branch; Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N94); Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Honolulu, HI. The purpose of this position is to provide customer service to patrons as well as to perform a variety of duties in support of the MWR community recreation program; located at the Barber's Point Beach Cottages.

A qualified candidate must possess: Must have knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and common chemicals used in cleaning. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing with management, staff and guests. Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Must have knowledge and skills sufficient to read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions. Ability to work safely while moving lightweight objects. Ability to use powered equipment and perform minor maintenance on this equipment. Ability to learn Material Safety Data Sheets.
