Job Summary
This position is located at Treasury Office of the Inspector General, Office of Management. As an Assistant Inspector General for Mangement, you will be responsible for establishing Office of Management (OM) policy, and for managing and coordinating all OM programs and operations.

Mandatory Technical Qualifications: The following qualifications are required for the incumbent to perform the duties of the position. You must demonstrate all of the MTQs to be rated as eligible for this position. MTQ 1: Demonstrated experience leading one or more comprehensive administrative programs for a large organization, covering program areas such as budget and finance; acquisition; human resources; information technology; personnel & information security; facilities management; travel; and strategic planning. MTQ 2: Demonstrated experience leveraging complex data to improve programs and operations of a large organization and making evidence-based decisions in support of goals and performance metrics for administrative programs. EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATIONS (ECQs): The ECQs describe the leadership skills needed to succeed in the SES and provide the focus for OPM certification of executive qualifications. There are five ECQs: ECQ 1: Commitment to the Rule of Law and the Principles of the American Founding - This core qualification requires a demonstrated knowledge of the American system of government, commitment to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law, and commitment to serve the American people. ECQ 2: Driving Efficiency - This core qualification involves the demonstrated ability to strategically and efficiently manage resources, budget effectively, cut wasteful spending, and pursue efficiency through process and technological upgrades. ECQ 3: Merit and Competence - This core qualification involves the demonstrated knowledge, ability and technical competence to effectively and reliably produce work that is of exceptional quality. ECQ 4: Leading People - This core qualification involves the demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a group toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals, and to drive a high-performance, high-accountability culture. This includes, when necessary, the ability to lead people through change and to hold individuals accountable. ECQ 5: Achieving Results - This core qualification involves the demonstrated ability to achieve both individual and organizational results, and to align results to stated goals from superiors.
