Job Summary
This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin, Office of Information Technology. As a Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager (Assistant Director), you will plan, organize, coordinate, and manage a significant range of Division functions requiring efficient and effective application of IT principles, concepts, and methods. They will also be responsible for directing and monitoring the activities of subordinate positions primarily of an IT persuasion.
Job Description
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Managing projects in the conception, design and development of business modernization and automation systems across various technologies through effective communication with business partners, team members and leadership; AND Experience leading or supporting the deployment of applications to cloud-base infrastructure; AND Evaluating, recommending, planning and scheduling the upgrade and installation of new technologies and architectures using low code/ no code applications; AND Oversight of program-level initiatives including budget and policy formulation. In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
