The incumbent serves as a General Engineer and provides specialized expertise by performing a broad range of technical assignments by developing, modifying, operating, evaluating, and overseeing specialized systems, processes, and applications.

Specialized experience for this position is defined as providing the following functions: 1) Interprets and communicates programmatic guidance to the contractor. 2) Participates with contractor management and others to resolve problems and conflicts. 3) Coordinates with senior NNSA staff to obtain an accurate understanding of Headquarters program guidance, policies, and priorities. 4) Point of contact for the KCFO at KCNSC to ensure that contractor operations are consistent with, and support, overall program objectives.
