Job Description
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience in performing the full range of pre-award or post award activities utilizing various types of contracts such as fixed price, various cost types, requirements, performance based and multiple award schedules; AND Procure and plan acquisitions for standard or specialized items, services, or contracts where specifications have become standardized and established competitive markets and price competition exist; AND Develop, prepare, and issue solicitations and evaluate responses; AND Monitor contract performance and assists in contract termination through various forms of oral and written communication. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
