Job Description

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes one year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes all of following: Applying established and systematic process-improvement methods to analyze, interpret, and implement technical guidance on HUD housing policies, regulations, and procedures to achieve efficiency gains and cross-organization coordination; AND Evaluating the impacts of proposed federal actions and coordinating with technical experts to develop practical mitigation strategies; AND Experience in public-speaking and presenting federal program guidance, regulations, and policies to diverse public-facing audiences; AND Developing and building strategic relationships with leaders across organizational boundaries to influence outcomes at an executive level. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
