Job Description

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience for the GS-14, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Evaluating, analyzing, developing, or managing telecommunications systems and procedures using current developments and trends in technology; AND Applying telecommunication or information technology theories, concepts, and management practices; AND Adhering to communications policy requirements in order to recommend new theories, concepts, and developments to communication problems; AND Supporting emergency management national security through the design, integration, and operational oversight of secure voice, data, and interoperable communications platforms. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
