Job Summary
As a Ecosystem Restoration Program Specialist, you will provide program support for Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (GCERC) restoration activities, including knowledge and application of best available science, technical and policy analysis, and technical assistance.
Job Description
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience supporting the oversight and implementation of coastal protection and/or restoration projects, including monitoring recipient performance utilizing knowledge of grant administration regulations, policies and procedures AND Providing technical assistance, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and program requirements, including providing guidance or training materials, and developing technical or scientific content to communicate program results to diverse audiences AND Conducting data analysis with the goal of assessing large-scale coastal protection and restoration to ensure consistency with laws and best available science. For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
