Job Summary
This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, End User Operations Branch. As a lead IT Specialist (CUSTSPT), you will provide end-user operational support and ensure IT System compliance. The mission of the User Services Division is to evaluate, integrate and support innovative technologies and workplace services to help Fiscal Service program areas achieve their goals.
Job Description
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience for the GS-13, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: - Experience leading or coordinating the work of IT staff assigning tasks, setting priorities, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance AND - Experience resolving end-user IT incidents and service requests involving hardware, software, operating systems, network connectivity, or account access AND - Experience supporting enterprise end-user operations by installing, configuring, maintaining, or troubleshooting end-user devices, applications, and related IT equipment AND - Experience coordinating technical support activities to maintain secure, compliant, and reliable end-user IT services In addition to meeting specialized experience, at the GS-13 level, individuals must have experience demonstrating each of the following competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Decision Making, Information Management, Interpersonal Skills, Oral Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, and Technical Competence.
