Job Summary

The Division of Investment Management's Analytics Office is seeking a SEC Fellow (Senior Financial Analyst). As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will apply deep industry and analytical expertise to complex data, operational, and policy issues affecting investment companies and advisers. Fellows provide advanced insight to support data analysis, rulemaking, examinations, investigations, disclosure review, and market monitoring, strengthening the Division's insight into evolving industry practices.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: SK-16: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-14 level: Providing guidance on financial or operational issues in the asset management industry, AND Conducting advanced analysis of industry data, trends, or risks with the ability to translate that analysis into support for policy development, examinations, market monitoring, or other program priorities; AND Communicating findings to inform senior staff or cross-divisional decision-making.
