Job Summary

This position is part of the Office of Data Strategy and Performance Analysis, Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will serve as a senior advisor and technical lead for the Operating Experience Program and other EHSS data systems that are critical to maintaining operational awareness, identifying systemic risks, and enabling data-informed prevention strategies across the DOE complex.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: Planning, designing, and conducting qualitative and quantitative evaluations of multi-faceted, high-impact industrial facility and operations programs to measure performance, identify systemic risks, and establish new performance metrics. Routinely applying advanced data analytics tools and data science techniques (e.g., AI, GenAI, machine learning) and using advanced modern databases and visualization platforms in the evaluation of large data sets. Preparing clear analytical reports and awareness materials, while leading large forums and delivering training content to diverse audiences. Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience for the GS-15 grade level. Limit your resume to no more than two (2) pages.
