Job Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Terrorist Financing. As a Director, Global Affairs, you will be involved in special program reviews and analysis, focused on money laundering, terrorist financing, other financial crimes, and other international initiatives.
Job Description
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: -Experience developing counter-illicit finance policies related to the implementation of international counter-illicit finance best practices and standards at the regional and national level; AND -Experience representing an agency or business in engagements with foreign governments, international organizations, and the private sector; AND -Experience working with the financial sector to further anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism policy priorities and goals.; AND -Experience assessing the threat posed by illicit financial networks, presenting such assessments, and recommending policy options to senior executive-level officials.; AND -Experience managing projects, leading teams, and mentoring staff in the preparation of briefing memoranda, talking points, and other written products for senior executive-level officials. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
