Job Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO - DAS Human Resources and CHCO. As a Human Resources Specialist (Employee / Labor Relations), you will serve as technical authority in all aspects of DO's Employee Relations program, including conduct, performance and attendance issues, Office of Inspector General referrals, and administrative inquiries, in order to provide authoritative guidance to DO employees, managers and supervisors on complex ELR issues.
Job Description
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. GS-14 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position is defined as proven proficiency and supportable (as evidenced in the resume) experience in ALL of the following: -Advising on performance and conduct related employee issues; AND -Researching and applying case law; AND -Drafting Department/Headquarter-wide or bureau/division-wide employee relations or performance management policies and guidance. GS-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position is defined as proven proficiency and supportable (as evidenced in the resume) experience in ALL of the following: -Advising on performance and conduct related employee issues; AND -Researching and applying case law. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
