Job Summary

This position is located at Departmental Offices,Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Office of Foreign Assets Control. As a Senior Enforcement Investigations Coordinator, you will be serve as a technical expert on sanctions enforcement and its processes - including the use of OFAC's various authorities and investigative tools - and routinely share such information with others in Enforcement through formal and informal trainings, document review, and other means.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for the GS-14 includes ALL of the following: - Overseeing, coordinating, managing or conducting investigations of international commercial or trade transactions and U.S. economic sanctions administered by OFAC; AND - Applying written and oral communication skills in investigations of international commercial or trade transactions, and U.S. economic sanctions to convey findings, analysis, and recommendations; AND - Compiling and analyzing information to identify facts and issues, determine priorities, research precedents, organize documentary evidence, and apply law and policy to facts found. Examples of this type of experience could include but is not limited to utilizing investigative strategies and techniques (e.g., use of subpoenas, research tools, and witness interviews); or an understanding of international trade and finance transactions, export controls or international trade compliance regulations and economic sanctions programs. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
