Job Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO - Management and Budget. As a/an BUDGET ANALYST (DEPUTY DIRECTOR), you will be responsible for a full range of program budget-related duties. These pertain to appropriated and non-appropriated funds, revolving funds, cooperative agreement funds, and program-related contract funds.
Job Description
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: *Experience leading coordination of projects such as budget reviews, data requests and analysis, and other agency level projects; AND *Experience with issues affecting budget execution of agency resources; AND *Experience of budget execution policies, processes, and relevant statutes necessary for timely resolution of issues; AND *Experience with Department-wide financial reports and relevant IT systems such as Treasury Information Executive Repository (TIER), TIER Financial Statements (TFS) application, Treasury's apportionment system. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
