Job Summary

This position is located at Departmental Offices, Domestic Finance - Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) Secretariat, which supports the Council in its mission to identify risks to U.S. financial stability, promote market discipline, and respond to emerging threats to the financial system. As a POLICY ADVISOR, you will be work closely with senior leaders across multiple financial regulatory agencies, providing analysis and coordination to support Council decisions and initiatives

Job Description

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: -Experience leading projects related to financial, economic, or policy matters; AND -Identifying or managing operational or financial risks related to financial markets or institutions; AND -Preparing written research or analysis for use by senior officials in the private or public sector for the development of policy decisions, including briefing papers, reports, presentations, and/or memoranda regarding financial stability or economic or financial analysis; AND -Conducting economic or financial analyses of the policies, programs, or practices of financial markets, such as capital markets, commodity markets, derivatives markets, or digital assets markets; or financial institutions, such as depository institutions, broker-dealers, investment companies, insurance companies, central counterparties, or digital assets institutions. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
