Job Summary
This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Operational Monitoring, Analysis, and Process (JOM), Operational Services (JO), Information Technology (J). A successful candidate in the Management & Program Analyst position will serve as the technical lead, lead program analyst and data management analyst responsible for analytical and evaluative processes related to Transmission Technology Operations Program Support within Operational Technology (OT) Control Centers.
Job Description
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level [GS-12] in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) analyzing technical requirements and user issues to design, adapt, and test systems supporting Operational Technologies including (but not limited to) identity or privilege management functions; 2) monitoring changing strategic initiatives and requirements and recommending least cost automation solutions to meet strategic objectives; 3) interpreting regulations, drafting, and reviewing procedures to support compliance with federal or industry standards (such as NERC CIP, NIST, or FISMA), including coordinating cyber, physical, or logical access request programs; and 4) leading cross-functional initiatives to identify, diagnose, resolve complex software, systems, and compliance-related process issues. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
